New Pet Packages

At Cactus Pet Hospital, we understand that a healthy start and proper preventative medicine are crucial for our beloved furry companions to live their best and healthiest lives. Because of this, we offer Puppy & Kitten Packages, discounted 40% and up off normal pricing, and streamline the process of getting your new pet’s health established and their wellness protected for your peace of mind. In addition to the core vaccines, we offer regionally important boosters like the rattlesnake and influenza vaccines for canines. A discounted Home Again ™ microchipping is also available with all Puppy & Kitten Packages, so if the worst happens, your pet has the best chance of coming home.

After your new puppy or kitten has gotten their vaccinations through one of our discounted packages, we are glad to offer an additional $50 off their spay or neuter surgery.

Puppy packages for puppies 6-12 weeks old include: 3× exams, 3× DA2PCPV+CVK, 1× Bordetella, and 1×Rabies vaccines, and a fecal analysis.

The DA2PCPV+CVK vaccinates against distemper, canine adenovirus, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. Bordetella protects against the most common bacteria which can cause kennel cough, and is extremely important for all animals that go to boarding, daycare and grooming facilities, or who may otherwise be exposed to other animals from outside their home.  Rabies is a debilitating and nearly always fatal virus which is excessively difficult to treat, but easily preventable with vaccination and necessary booster shots.

Kitten packages for kittens 6-12 weeks old include:  3× exams, 3× RCCP, 2× Leukemia, 2×FIP, 1× Felomune CVR, and 1× Rabies vaccines, a FelV test, and a fecal analysis.

The RCCP vaccine for cats protects against the feline rhinotracheitis, calici, and panleukopenia viruses and chlamydia psittaci. The FelV test is a simple blood test meant to detect the feline leukemia virus, which can be vaccinated against with the leukemia vaccine. The FIP vaccines protect against feline infectious peritonitis, and the Felomune CVR vaccination protects  against feline rhinotracheitis (FVR) caused by feline herpesvirus-1 and feline respiratory disease caused by feline calicivirus (FCV).  The rabies vaccination protects felines from contracting the highly fatal rabies virus, which can be transmitted between animal species.
